Topic of Cancer: doing great things locally. Let us help you.

Helping you to cope with cancer

We offer local support groups where members can share experiences, enjoy the company of others, and talk openly with other cancer suffers who truly understand.

With guest speakers to educate, inform and entertain, trips out to theatres and places of interest, it is a chance to have fun and be yourself.

Membership is free, with no booking required, and each group is organised by the local support group leader and members.

Using the immune system against cancer

Topic of Cancer raises funds to help Professor Hardev Pandha and his cancer research team, based in Guildford, fight cancer using the bodies immune system.

Their internationally acclaimed indagation and trials into immunotherapy, using live viruses and other approaches to improve treatments and therapies, have resulted in some ground-breaking advances.

Our wonderful research team in Guildford presented me with a fabulous carrot cake and flowers [for Janet I think] at a small informal tea party to mark my standing down as Chair and Trustee of Topic of Cancer after 10 years. I will never be far away and will continue to do all I can to fundraise and promote their work and the several support groups we created. Please keep donating at the website www.topicofcancer.org.uk

Topic of Cancer is a registered charity in England and Wales, registered no. 1151079.
