Rotary Club of Guildford District Annual Charity Walk

Date: 13th May, 2018

Time: 09:45

Location: Shalford Park

Get yourself sponsored and help raise funds for Topic of Cancer, by taking part in the Rotary Club of Guildford District’s (RCGD) Annual Charity Walk, on Sunday 13th May at Shalford Park, Guildford.

This walk has been run by the RCGD for about 25 years and is very popular with fund raisers for many reasons. Absolutely everything is organised by Rotary from the risk assessment to check points to first aid and including a burger van and ice cream van. This year they have the 10k and also a new 5k, for those wishing to do a shorter walk.

Importantly, the RCGD do not charge anything for walkers, and dogs very welcome. RCGD generally have around 25 to 30 different organisations using the walk, and whether there are two walkers for a charity or 20, everyone is welcome and encouraged every step of the way.

You should turn up at 09:15 on Sunday 13th May, for a 09:45 start.

If you would like to take part, please contact Jane Hindley on 01483 417682, or e-mail: charitywalk@guildforddistrictrotary.org.uk

So, start organising your team!

Remember, every single penny that you raise in sponsorship goes to Topic of Cancer – the whole event is run free of charge.

Topic of Cancer is a registered charity in England and Wales, registered no. 1151079.
