We were delighted to welcome Jeremy Hunt MP to the Topic of Cancer Laboratoriesthis week, where he met with Professor Adam Frampton (Head of Oncology, HPB Surgeon and Topic of Cancer Trustee) alongside our dedicated Oncology Research Team, including Dr Nicola Annels and David Bartlett.
During his visit, Jeremy gained a first-hand insight into the pioneering research taking place within our laboratories and the life-changing work being driven by our incredible team. He learned about several of the innovative clinical trials that Topic of Cancer is proud to support, including the OPTIMUS Exercise Trials and saw how cutting-edge immunotherapy research is helping to transform the future of cancer treatment.
From developing new treatment approaches to improving outcomes for patients, our researchers continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in cancer care. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the impact of the work made possible through the generosity of our supporters and the commitment of our scientific and clinical teams.
We would like to thank Jeremy Hunt MP for taking the time to visit us and learn more about our mission to accelerate groundbreaking cancer research and bring hope to patients and their families.
