Guildford Bikeathon

On Saturday, 3rd March, the Rotary Club of Guildford and TurnFit Studios held their 2018 Bikeathon.

This year Topic of Cancer support and fitness are the recipients of £5,000 raised, all the more amazing as the weather was so bad they dropped the street collection until later in the year. Congratulations to Gaynor’s Gang who cycled an staggering 108.4 miles in the time allowed, but the others were not far behind. We would like to thank the organisers and the 20 teams that took part for their truly amazing effort between 8am and 6pm. Nigel joined them (but not joined in) for the morning and trustees Rosemary Gorman and Julie Eves with ambassador Anne Powell-Evans represented ToC in the afternoon. You might see them in the middle of the end of day huddle here.

There is still time to donate via the link: so please dig deep in such a great cause.
