ToC Voices vote for choir leader
The ToC Voices choir auditioned 4 possible leaders at rehearsal last night (Monday, 30th April) and voted unanimously for Emily Bollon. As you will see from this link, Emily has a special link to Guildford and Surrey Uni and is very qualified to take us forward.

Topic of Cancer was very fortunate to be selected by the Waitrose store in Guildford to be included in their Green Token Scheme for December.
A Macmillan Reception and a New Patron
Life has been a bit hectic here with a trip to Buckingham Palace at the invitation of HRH The Prince of Wales for a Macmillan Reception.
Last night we were at the Hippodrome, Leicester Square for a brilliant evening with Colin Roy and his salute to Nat King Cole. It was well worth the effort and money as we had a great time, plus he introduced me and talked about ToC, so I had several chats with audience members afterwards. Patrons Michael Elwyn and Alison Steadman joined us there as well as Norman and Terri Davidson, our Ambassadors in Kent.
On air with BBC Surrey and BBC Sussex
We enjoyed an opportunity to present some of our services on air with BBC Surrey and BBC Sussex with Mike Dixon yesterday in the lead up to World Cancer Day on Sunday 4th February.
Chair’s Christmas Thankyou
As we approach Christmas and the New Year I would like to thank you all for your incredible support for myself and the objectives of Topic of Cancer. We have been very busy over the last twelve months with my last ‘formal’ do on the evening of 19th Dec with the Rotary Club of Surbiton – and my first being with the same club on 2nd Jan 2018. In between I have managed a speedy shopping purge but no Christmas card so my apologies for not sending any out to thank you and wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
