We kicked off 2024 in true style, with a thoroughly enjoyable Topic of Cancer quiz night. Masterminded by Anne-Marie Wakefield, we had 82 people turn up, including BBC broadcasting legend, and our Patron, Michael Buerk.
Anne, our Chair, and Anna, or trustee pitched in alongside Anne-Marie and Ollie, resulting up delicious homemade tagines and pavlovas to feed the hungry quiz teams.
We’re indebted to Guy Pakenham who ran the quiz and auction in such an entertaining and fun manner. Altogether we raised over £5,220! What a result!
